BAILOUTS! As the shrine of our venerated market economy
imploded before our eyes, we wondered aloud if there might be a
better, ‘more responsible’ approach to doing business;
-one not based ‘solely’ on a ravenous compulsion to make
BIG profits quickly and recklessly. We reasoned that, perhaps,
if the BIG conglomerates viewed its customers as, ‘partners
in their success’ instead of mere income sources, they might
understand the value and utility of protecting the health &
prosperity of the very people who sustain them.
